911 recordings and CAD
Question:
How do I request 911 recordings and Computer Aided Dispatch (CAD) records?
Answer:
All requests for 911 recordings must include;
1) Type of incident, date, time, location and name of individual(s) involved in the incident,
2) ) If a phone was used to make a 9-1-1 call, include the caller’s or callers’ phone number(s), name(s) and other pertinent information to enable the Call Center to search for the 9-1-1 call(s).
3) Specifically for DMV incidents you must include information described in number 1 and the car(s) license plate number(s).
Important note: 911/CAD records cannot be searched with summons and/or Case numbers
